System specifically designed for veteran players.
The system will provide the third element in the “Cradle to
grave” system designed for all ages.
Graham
Dixon
to receive results of all tournaments from BA of E and keep records of
results and rankings. This to be available to VPG and National Selection
Committee only. Rankings may also be used (at the discretion of the VPG) to
guide the seeding process in major tournaments.
Tournaments are graded. Categories A & B must ;-
 |
Be “Open” Tournaments and offer all age groups 40 – 60
+ |

Play “best of three” to 15 points |
 |
Have at least three years experience |
 |
Be seen to attract credible numbers of leading players. |
Tournaments in category C will be all other veteran
tournaments and will be encouraged to attain the criteria that will allow
them to be re-scheduled as category B events.

Points are awarded for each round won plus 5 points for
entering and a bonus of 5 for winning.
Players earn points at the age at which they choose to
compete.

The ranking to be based on the “sub total” which will be the

be updated as results become available and rankings based upon the period
September 1st. to August 31st. each season.
